EPIXA is a test bench containing industrial process elements such as a pump, valve, pressure and flow transmitters, level sensors, AC motor drive, etc...

The operative part can be controlled either by a Rockwell PLC (Compact Guardlogix® 5380) or a SAIA PCD3® PLC. EPIXA includes several regulation loops: flow, pressure and water levels.

This test bench can be used in training sessions such as :

• DCS trainings: Rockwell or Saia PLC programming, FactoryTalk® or PcVue® SCADA programming, serial communications.
• Regulation: process identification, configuration of a PID regulator.
• Actuators: plot of the carcteristic curves of actuators such as pumps or valves.
